Hi - I'm new to this forum as well as being new to the sport of bowling. I have been asked to help with our league's final banquet, and I am asking for your assistance! I am looking for some clever sayings that can be used on centerpieces for the tables. An example would be something like "Bowling - You can get three strikes and you're not out!"

Thanks in advance for your help!

Here's a few I came up with in a brainstorming session...which is really tough considering I lack the main ingredient...a brain.

Bowling - Where you always get a second chance...and usually do.
Bowling - An alley you can play in!
Bowling - Split happens!
Bowling - If I don't get a strike..spare me!
Bowling - Never a good time to clean out the gutters
Bowling - Use three fingers to throw what? far?
Bowling - Where you can throw balls and strikes and the only pitchers are on the table.

Hopefully you can do better than these.

(I want you to was tough to keep them 'clean'.)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Thanks for the ideas! I appreciate it so much! I've incorporated them into what I've got so far, and it's going to be great! The banquet is still more than a week away, so feel free to continue to post any others ideas that you might think of.
