I wanted to try it out so I took it to my local house that puts virtually no oil on the lanes... well except for outside the 6 board which is flooded.. don't ask.. that is the normal shot... they have no idea what they are doing.
I know they weren't the ideal conditions for that
ball but the
ball worked pretty well. The first few shots the
ball didn't move at all .. but once I got some oil on the
ball it seemed to work well. If I put heavy roll on it, it would go down the lane and make a somewhat smooth transition to the pocket.. If i turned it and put more side rotation it went down then snapped hard.. I tried out my
Hammer Anger that is drilled 4" pin to pap with axis leverage. I hit 17 and got it out to 7 deep down the lane with speed and it came back hard. If I slowed it down and hit the outside flooded area it would still get out of it and make its move. I was throwing pretty fast to overcome the dry conditions. I can't wait to try it out on some real oil. I think they might do what I want them to do. Coach Jim .. I left you a private message..
