Has anybody tried this or even heard of it? I'm just curious to see what other people's reactions are to it because I might get my Roto-Grip Cell drilled to accomidate that and I might have to have my BW solid drilled that way.

I have heard of vacum grips. I hear there best suited for people who swell alot and people who are in between different sizes.

I've been thinking about getting the Vacu-grips. My fingers change sizes during the change of seasons and I have to then change the inserts to allow for it. That gets to be a pain and going to the Vacu-grip would eliminate the problem. I know of several drillers in my area that do them, its just a matter of having the money to do it. I want to get my grip squared away first.

Here'e the basic techinque for drilling vacu-grips without using Vice's green inserts for the bottom for the hole.

Use 1 1/32 bit instead of the usuall 31/32 bit. Drill down an inch. Change to 31/32 bit, and drill to 1 3/4 inches deep. Use an insert two sizes smaller than your normal size. Glue the insert on the front top, and the bottom of the hole on the back side. You now have a flex-grip with an vacugrip effect.

I know thats how one of the drillers does it. I guess he tried the Vise inserts once and when he changed finger inserts he starting having problems. I know the other uses the insert, or at least he did the last time I know he was doing a ball with them.

What type of inserts did he change to? I'm thinking about doing it with power inserts.

When I said changed, I was referring to just replacing worn inserts.
