Youth Tournaments 2009 and 2010

USBC has announced the 2009 and 2010 Youth Open and Junior Gold tournaments will be in Indianapolis.

What's the age limit for those tournaments and the entry fees? Or would I be better off checking bowl.com?

Junior Gold is a qualifying tournament that requires you to bowl a local tournament to advance. The website with all the info is http://www.bowl.com/tournaments/youth/jrgold/main.aspx
but the short answer is each tournament spot is $150. Bowlers to join must pay a $30 yearly membership and then have a 175 average for boys and a 165 for girls.

The Youth Open is $100 and includes a team, doubles, and singles portion of the event. That website is at http://www.bowl.com/tournaments/youth/usbcYouthOpen/main.aspx

All youth events are open to bowlers who have not turned 22 by August 1 and are members of USBC and in the case of Gold they also need to be a member of Junior Gold.
