California USBC Seniors Single Tournament - 08/05/16 09:15 PM

I'll be bowling this tournament in a couple of weekends from now. Anyone know what type of patterns they lay down, Sport?

State senior tournament here has typically been THS, goobee, but IDK about California.

THS would be nice, I haven't had a lot of luck on Sport patterns.

Well I bowled today and it was not easy. The pattern was light oil, to the point it felt like burnt lanes. 9:00 AM squad, I was not expecting to have to stand at 30 board and swing out to 5. So much for me thinking I would have a better chance on THS.

I'm sure you realize house shots have varying volumes as well as sport shots. You probably just ran into a low-volume house shot.

Yeah, I struggle deep inside so I'm whining a bit. On a plus note, I got to bowl on the same pair as Paula Vidad. thumbsup
