I just took a Purple Rhino Pro home today. It's only 13lb 10oz. It's been plugged twice and drilled thrice. (Is that a word?) I didn't even clean it when I found it. I just started two-handing it. heh

Really? It's the ball, not the animal. heh Still, if you want to see it, I'll take a photo. It's quite ugly though.

The photo will be interesting because I used to the ball for a dishwasher experiment. Unfortunately, I didn't read that IF one tries the dishwasher cleaning method, it should be done on the SHORTEST setting instead of the longest setting. heh I did turn off the heat-dry setting though. Maybe you can imagine what happened to the plugged ball.

Well, it's definitely a purple brunswick ball. Cool

Look at all the scratches along the track area, that's what would worry me. This ball really needs a good resurfacing.

Is it me or do the scratches suggest the ball tracks over the middle finger?

My ball? Not my track. I've only used it a few times, and not even for full games. When I did use it, it didn't track in that area. Also, that chip across the bridge is now about 1/8" deep and jagged. It would be dangerous to put on a spinner. Maybe it shouldn't even be used!

Here's a 16# Purple Rhino Pro on ebay in better condition: http://cgi.ebay.com/BRUNSWICK-RHINO-16LB-PURPLE-BOWLING-BALL-USED-/160480500176

There are a few Rhinos on ebay. Some new and 16#.

I've got a black pearl rhino 16lb in the garage. It was a decent ball back in the day.
