Remember, I finger tip the ball and finger tip my thumb in the ball. The lanes were very oily, I could have played way outside, but that is generally where I play as it is usually much drier. Using the 15# Power Groove Dry-R. Note the terribly off balance form.

It's a hell of a lot better balance than I have. Do the letters 'DUI' mean anything to you? They do to me on about every other shot. rotfl I'm waiting for a FireWire cable I bought to come in the mail so that I can use a camera from work to shoot myself practicing on a Sunday.

Please don't shoot yourself we don't need to see any self-mutilation wink , just take some videos of yourself bowling and hopefully not hurting yourself.

Matt, I think part of the problem with the balance is the way you drag the whole side of your right foot. It just drags your right side off balance. The forceful swing doesn't help but I think the foot is the big culprit. Your body just isn't in a balanced position. It also looks like you rush the line, taking big steps from starting so far back on the approach. Add all of that up and balance is hard to come by. Can't say much about the armswing unless you want to fully insert the thumb in the ball.

To help with the foot work, stand with your heels at the foul line facing the back of the approach and just take your normal sized steps as if you are walking down the street and at your normal pace, then add half a step. Your approach should be a normal walking pace and sized steps.
