Well I found out that the handicap in this Marvel Heroes league isn't based on 90% of 220 lol. So I had zero handicap heading in with my 188 starting average. The kiddo started off very well with a 107 average (he's 9). So he bowls a 137 followed

Jim, I think the smell we remember was the shellac they used on the lanes, not oil. Our House in the 60-70's would re-sand the lanes first week in the Summer, and over XMas. Then shellac with a few more applications in between.
