i practiced yesterday with my black pearl & Ntense (3 games each)...and realized the black pearl suits me better ...
black pearl 3 game series(fresh oil) 722!!! 232/264/226
ntense 3 game series(same lanes)513!! 166/158/189
my local house is med/heavy-heavy longer oil

i have the black pearl drilled stacked leverage, and the ntense is pin up 3/4in right 1/2in MB 1 1/8in right of thumb hole...

im lookin for a skid snap ball ... ill have it drilled stacked

the balls i been lookin at are
legends-black pearl reactive
seismic-solaris requeim

Roto Grip's Cell Pearl is a great go long, turn hard ball. Just ask Wes Malott.

Hmm, don't see Virtual Energy in your arsenal, and waiting to acquire a Cell Pearl (soon). No PBA wins to speak of for Virtual Energy, but Malott won Player of the Year, and ruled as King for weeks rolling the Cell Pearl. So your enthusiastic agreement is based on...?

For what it's worth, the virtual energy was released on 06/29/2009, so it would be impossible to judge the ball based on PBA wins.

Sort of my point. How does one endorse a ball that they apparently have not thrown, or seen thrown (at least not on TV), and has virtually no track record (no pun intended on the virtually)?

With the Cell Pearl, besides the TV dominance, I can personally attest that I rolled my first 800, and two 300's with the ball. The ball paid for itself with bracket winnings alone.

It doesn't mean I won't try the Virtual Energy at some point, just not ready to say it's the best ball for the job.

I don't know. There could be good or bad reasons why anyone has any opinion. I'm not asking the question so it's not important to me.

The L/M Black Diamond goes longer than the Black Pearl, and snaps more radically, per the Mfgr. Specs.

I've seen the Virtual Energy on PBA Oil patterns. It doesn't work there. Needs a house shot.
