I had asked earlier for suggestions on filling out my arsenal(thank you hamma for assisting). I have edited these pics to show where the CG is on each ball and you can see the PIN. Can someone who understands this stuff well tell me about these two balls based soley on where they CG and PIN are and perhaps that will help me in determining what kind of balls I should add to my arsenal(what im missing) and how the next ones should be drilled.
Thanks
evil

Without knowing your PAP, it's impossible to say what they will do for you. The one on the left is a default "go longer and snap" drilling, the one on the right is a default strong drilling for someone just starting bowling, or someone that needs some help from the ball.

does the first ball on the left have a weight hole in it??.. if it doesn't then there is a chance that it isn't legal with the cg that far to the right.. unless there was really low top weight or something..

but cgeorg is correct.... the first would be longer and more angular on the backend.. the one on the right would probably roll sooner and smoother..
but that depends on your PAP.. what ball those are, the mb placement.. and your release and lane condition.

That would be true if they were the same ball, they are not, the swarm will always go longer and snap harder than the copper head, no matter how it is drilled. The swarm is a go long pearl and the copper head is an early rolling solid.

Coach is definitely correct about the inherit characteristics of the swarm and copperhead. The swarm is definitely a higher RG ball with more length.

Coach to round out my arsenal would you think go for some higher RG, less aggressive ball to take it's place at one end of the spectrum, say very dry lanes? Im still not sure about getting something like a Siege, or Hammer Jigsaw etc. (something asymetrical) for heavy oil. I dont encounter heavy oil much but the Copperhead doesnt handle HEAVY oil well when i have.

high rg balls are a waste of time, they are strictly entry level, the balls you have are good for petty much any lane condition except for the extreme wet or dry.

Why not look into taking some lessons instead of wasting money on balls you will hardly use.

Hey coach, from what i remember you had an injury or something that has "halted," your participation right? But on average how many balls were you carrying in your rotation? Are you one of these guys that just has a couple and that's it. My Dad did that for years and years until basically the technology changed.
Or did you just buy balls as your others pretty much "burned" out?
Just curious. Seems to me you have a good head on your shoulders. How many balls(and/or looks) do you think one should have and what's the most you would go. Other than just collecting them because its a new style or look you like etc.

Thanks
evil
