Hello,

Not a long time ago the Track on the ball was fine and everything was ok,

But then I tried something someone told me that keep my hand beneath the ball by look at it during the steps, that cause to realase the ball with power and Track over thumb hole.

So I stopped to try this thing and back to my own play but than I saw that most of my shots the Track line was on the thumb hole, no matter what I tried and did.
Even with other balls, I tried think of realse early thumb,lower speed, nothing worked.


So I really want to know why this thing happen, what cause it and how can I fix it step-by-step.

I'm left handed,high speed stroker.

Tracking over the thumb is caused by the fingers moving slightly counter clockwise (left handed clock wise for right handed) at the release. This throws the thumb out in the way of the Track. Moving your wrist/fingers clock wise (counter clockwise for righties) will move the thumb away from the Track.

Think of turning a door knob.

When I start the swing my hand is behind the ball , when is the moment I need to turn the hand clockwise?

You shouldn't have to try to turn it. If you just relax and and let your arm swing, it should do it on it's own. If you stand up and put your arm out in front of you and just let you arm fall and swing like your arm is asleep. When your hand comes back in front of you and stops at it highest point, where is your hand facing? If you in fact keep your arm and hand completely relaxed, your hand will be pointing in.

Instead of thinking about having to turn your hand, you should think about letting it turn on it's own. Don't force it to stay behind the ball for the entire shot.
