Hello to all - After a 30 year absence I have picked up bowling again. I've been back in for the last 4.5 months and have become - some say - addicted!! To the point where I have my two sons (27 and 23) and my wife starting to play. Convinced a couple of guys from work to join a league with me (my first!). Having a ball here in the Raleigh area of NC.
Avg is around 150 but - if the stars align just right - can get a 190 -210 - that consistency thing again! Have take a few lessons, bought some equipment and - naturally - want to buy some more... This looks like a great forum. I poked around for a few days this week before I joined and from the posts I've read - and I've read a bunch - everyone here seems pretty nice.

Welcome to the forum, tbowl. As you've probably noticed, things have changed a lot in bowling in the past 30 years. I don't know how serious you were when you quit, but a lot things that used to be considered fundamentals are now considered no-nos, or at least less than optimal. Just a heads up, in case you start reading article that talks about, say, dropping the shoulder to gain power (yep!).
