That's what I like to hear. For some reason a new ball gives you a greater confidence in your game I think. I've bowled pretty good as well with a new ball, but nothing close to 769, maybe a 730 or so the 1st week.
We have a weird little weekly tournament--no-tap scoring on the pro patterns, with 15-20 participants. This week they put down the Cheetah pattern, so high scores all around.

sign me up for some of that. last time we had a no tap tourney I got killed shooting 250s and had no chance to win even if I shot 3 300's, I STILL would have lost. Advantage low average bowlers.

The lanes had the Shark out tonight. I got my ball thumb fixed, and went to bowl after the PBA league. Used all 3 of my heavy oil balls liberally. The Dynamic Power was the most consistent all night.
My comments tell the story. But, 779 for 4 games, 203, 177, 196, 203.

bowled 12 games of practice yesterday before league and in league i shot 211, 218, 194 for a 623 series. and today i went in to practice for 6 games and shot 578 for my first series just throwing the ball on the lane and then i shot 620 working on my release and arm swing. but now my thumb hurts so hopefully it'll be better by the time monday night rolls around.

went practicing with the Roto GripCell, finally found a solid place to throw consistanly, and land it in the pocket, threw a 200,211,218 im pretty happy with it

not a bad day for me yesterday, 193,181,205 for a 579 series. thats an improvement for me the last few weeks, always throwing a shocker like 135 in between!! my Uprising seems to have lost its kick in the last few weeks, even after hot water baths no better! luckily i get my Virtual Energy drilled up 2moro:)
