Good luck, Dan! Shoot the lights out. Got one myself next weekend in Philly/NJ--Laurel Lanes.
Domokun,
Laurel Lanes is a decent house about 30 minutes from where I live. I was just there during the winter for a youth tournament my son was in. I don't normally bowl there because there's a place much closer to me with about the same conditions.
I didn't realize there was a tournament at laurel next week or else I would have thought about entering. How did you find out about it? I wonder if I could still enter......

Consider yourself invited--IGBO membership is $5. If nothing else, show me your best bar.
Last time I bowled there was about 6 years ago and cashed at this tournament. Pretty small tournament--you can check against last year's entries. Handicaps run extremely high with these tournaments so you're forced to pull 7s. Scratch entry is encouraged.

Domokun, Thanks for the invite, but I don't qualify for that tournament. As far as bar recommendations, I don't get out to bars these days so I'm not much help in bar selection for that area. If you do stop for a few just be careful when driving. The local cops are very aggressive about drinking and driving, speeding, etc. Good luck at the tournament.

We had the Chamelon this past Wensday, and I'm not sure whether or not it's just that difficult, or am I just that awful! Game one I bowled a (U SUCK!), game two I bowled a (WHAT, DOES THIS GUY THINK THIS IS A JOKE?), and game three I bowled a (YOU MIGHT WANT A TAKE UP GOLF!)!!
I almost forgot, I threw two gutter balls. One was coming off a spare. Well now that I've bottomed out I guess everything should be an improvement.

I didn't feel much better when I left. To me the pattern appeared to be 40 feet of flat gutter to gutter oil with carry down ridden backends. On top of that my timing was a little off making it hard for me to throw a consistent ball which is highly important on those patterns. It looked like you found a line towards the end of the last game?
The guy at the desk said I can open bowl on the pattern after the league. This week I think I'm going to bowl a few games after league just get more experience on the chameleon. Look at this way, the pros get to practice on these patterns all the time. These patterns are new to us so we don't know how to play them. Can't be that hard....

Thursday night 2nd week in a row I was on fire. Almost another 600 series. I shot 593 (221, 196, 176). Last game the splits got to me and also had a cople in the first game. Other than that a solid nigt and we went 4-0 again so we are 15-5!!

I bowl a 9 Pin No Tap league cause i wanna take it easy over the summer and just have a good time bowling with my dad and some friends. This past winter i bowled 2 leagues and wanted to relax. I still practice during the summer on my ten pins and what not outside of league play.

Bowled PBAX last night for the first time on Viper. I had trouble hitting my target for the entire first game which made it really difficult to strike. I had one open each game and ended up shooting in the 540's. 165-172-204, not to bad just not great when you miss your mark on something that doesn't give you any area. I found a couple of decent lines on it though, next time should be a little better. I found standing 15 looking 5 with my Virtual Gravity worked well. Also standing 19 and swinging 7 with the Global Shift was a good line. Standing 8 looking 1 was actually a really good line as long as you could stay really consistant.
