GP: OOB. Hyperactive dude next to me with every bowling ailment possible as well as every tool you could own was talking about sanding his before play--as he was taping a second layer on his thumb (already had a cushion in the ball, too)
"You got thirty minutes. Go for it."
"I don't know how."
"Then why are we talking about it?"
CGeorg: Awesome. My teammate keeps doing the paper version. He can get the interweb on his phone, too. Watches me do it, but won't change over: "Oh--oh no, that's too much work to set up. Maybe I'll make my own app for this stuff."
I have a permanent eye twitch in my eye now. "Yes, it takes 16 hours to get a login and then there's all that typing and screen tapping. Easily 12 weeks to get going, but man, it's awesome when you get it going...look, the screen turns."

Domo:
Bill Monce drilled my Hy-Road. Said that the polishStorm uses on it can be a bit squirrelly at times. He removed the polish and put Ebonites back on. Great reaction.

Oh, really? That's good to know--really, when does Storm do something squirrelly? Sweet Jebus love 'em for all the wrongs they do. Did I mention I got all liquored up at the last tournament two month ago and came close to "You know what your problem is..." to the Storm rep who dropped by the hospitality suite? Of course, I quickly learned from my buddy running the bar that he was coming by to drop off their sponsor check so I, yeah, changed my mind on that.
Slurred "That g*ddam Hy-road's a helluva ball, sir!" instead. He grabbed my hand shaking it like a crazy man spilling his drink all over the bar. "Oh! Blah blah blah HY-ROAD! LIKE IT? BLAH!"
"Muthaf***in' h*lluva ball! YEAH!"
Awkward! Should've just said "You know what? I haaaaaate you. Now sell me another ball!" Yeah, that's what I shoulda said. That'd show 'em.
Thanks for the info. I'll take her in and give that a whirl.

Wasn't supposed to bowl last night, but wound up having my plans fall through so I went to league.
Weird night. Definitely a night where the house pattern helped me. For the first 3 games everything was light. I moved left, right, back, forward, slowed down. Everything was either light, or off target. So I wasn't stringing strikes. But I was getting good carry, plus making my spares. Only had 2 opens the whole night. Wound up going 204-236-202-224--866. Second best night of the season and the first night with 4 200 games.

Nice bowling Dan.
I had a weird night too. The team that was bowling next to us got into a fight, both verbal, and a head butt/shoving match. Seems one guy went to the afternoon Tiger game, and was "over served", then came to bowl, and had a few more beers. After the games were done he started accusing his team mate of not trying hard enough, and the screaming started, and they squared off, fists flying but really not landing. I ended up having to seperate them and keep them from each other untill things cooled down. They ended up shaking hands at the end,... but what fun!
As for the bowling...we took all 9 points I had a 196, 179, 241,222 for a 838. I'm pretty happy with that, except where I changed balls in game 2...dumb move. Went back to my Hammer Bite in games 3,4.
