Since I bowl only one league I am for sure bowling over the summer. I remember prior to 1993 I was bowling in 2 leagues a week for several years and I think I kind of got burned out. This is working out good because after almost 3 years back I sitll look forward to bowling every week.

I'm bowling in 2 leagues this summer. A draft league on Thursdays, where members in the top 25% in average select their teams through a draft; and a PBA Experience league on Mondays.

I'm debating whether I will bowl this Summer or not. I am leaning toward not. I will bowl once a week on the PBA shot practice night, though. I seem to get more from that then the league night.

I think I am sticking with 2 leagues for the summer, they are short, but I am getting inundated with requests to join teams. I think I am going to be a hired gun, as I refuse to bowl with the people on my thursday night team as they are really idiots. So I am telling evetyone I am not sure what I will be doing as of yet.
In the winter, I am again unsure what I will be doing, things will have to wait.

Well, I called my cousin Debbie and she told me they plan to bowl on Wednesday nights, after all, so my summer league is set. My team in the league isn't so set, though: My teammates from last summer, Brian and Ralph, both want to bowl with their sons, and I don't think a female has to be on a team in the summer league (4-man teams), so I think they'll constitute a full team. A few people from my winter league want to form a team for the summer league; they were unsure of their fourth person, but one of the females wants to bowl with a friend. Since the friend wasn't a definite, however, I left open to them the option of bringing me in. For now, though, I'm on the sign-up board as having no team.

i'm doing a scotch doubles league. my wife and son are one team, and myself and a guy from my winter league team are a team. i wanted to do it for some good family time, lady running the league put our two teams on the same pair every week so we'd be together, and there is like 30 teams to go on 12 lanes, so we still see/meet other teams, and i wanted to do it for spare practice etc.. so far it's been alot of fun.

I'm bowling on a mixed league on Weds. I'm bowling with a couple I bowled Winters with and they both average 210+ as do I. To help with handicap I'm trying to talk the girlfriend into taking the 4th spot. It would be her first league on top of learning finger tip. Summer for me is a chance to let go of trying to win every week and try to remember to have fun.

I am bowling in a adult/ youth league, but its set up to where you aren't required to have an adult and a youth, you can have a full youth, or full adult, or mixed. It will be first league I get to fully bowl on synthetics. I'm pretty excited about that.
