Once again hoping for some good discussions as well as some info especially about my release, swing, etc.

A few things I noticed:

THE PROBLEM: From behind notice how the ball flight makes its way back into the top of the backswing. As it passes the hip you will see the ball is bumping out of its swing line in order to clear your hip, this causes the ball to end up way behind your back in your backswing. This probably causes you to miss your target more often than you should be, both inside and outside. The problem is all created because of your late start with the ball movement. Rather than the ball passing your leg as the second step compresses (or just before) it is crossing in between the second and third step. This keeps your hip in the way of the swing line rather than letting it clear.

THE FIX: Start the ball as soon as you start your first step. Pretend there is a metal rod secured in the top of your foot on one end and into the bottom of the ball on the other. As your foot moves to take that step, the ball has to move because they are connected. This will correct the timing, and give you a better swing, allowing you to clear your hip and keep the ball in tight to the body.

THE PROBLEM: From the side, notice your finish position at the line. Your body comes to a quick hault, as if you stuck, you get leaned forward into the lane and pop up slightly as you are releasing the ball. There are a couple of reasons for these things, one should be fixed by the timing issue mentioned above. The thing I want you to really look at is your power step (step before slide), where is the power? You can see that you get into that step and you never actually push off. It almost looks as if you are just taking another step. The slide is created by your power step and your trail leg, not the leg that is actually sliding.

THE FIX: After getting the push away straightened out for the above fix, that will be the first step to a clean, smooth post position, you will need to add a little power to that push off. Keep your back more upright, this will keep you from getting to far up onto your toes (that causes sticking issues) which will keep you more balanced and down at the line. The more stable you can be at the line the more momentum you can send into the ball. Keeping more upright will also allow you to create a stronger push off into the slide, resulting in more ball speed, power, and in that respect pin carry. This will also save your knees from possible problems, as you can clearly see could arise from putting a lot of pressure and torque on it as you are right now. A good example to watch would be Parker Bohn III, he has one of the best post positions ever seen in the bowling industry.

I agree with what Sk8 said, there are a couple of other things that might also help to do the fixes he prescribed.

If you look at your push away in the side video (Nice cameras work by the way, you can see everything which is rare these days), you will see your push away is way out in front of your body, the elbow locks out in front of you, it is not as high as your previous video which is a step in the right direction.

When you start the ball with your left hand, don't push the ball out past where your right elbow crosses your chest, that is all the farther you want to go with the push away. The right upper arm and lower arm angle at the elbow should not change as the ball comes forward, meaning the entire arm moves in one piece, this will facilitate dropping the ball into the swing and get the ball moving quicker.

When you bowl, bring your cameras and check yourself to make sure the ball is swinging back as your left foot is moving forward, your check point should be:
1. the ball is dropping into the swing as your right toe is coming down.

2. the ball is behind your right hip like Sk8 said before your right foot comes forward for the third step.

If you can do 1 and 2, then you will have no other choice but to take a short quick step into the slide which is what you are looking for in the power step.

One final thing is your finishing posture, your head is way out past your slide foot in the finish and your left knee is straight, don't bend from the waist farther than your left knee, this will promote better balance and leverage at the foul line.

Good luck finding a coach, I'm not sure who to recommend, just keep posting vids here and maybe someone will know of a good coach in your area, ask around the bowling center too.

I basically agree with all that's been said but would add a couple of comments. You are setting up with the ball too far towards the center of the torso. You should set up with the ball in front of your shoulder. This will help keep the ball on the proper swing plain. You also take a big step to the right on the third step. This compounds the problem of the ball behind the back. Taking a shorter power step will help but you need to stop stepping off like that.
