Actually my favorite event to date was the skills challenge where they had to shoot all the different splits, that was a great idea!

Just looked at the WSOB site... There apparently is some sort of skills challenge scheduled one of the days with the Women's Championship and the Senior Championship with it as well.

But, also it may be a sign leading to the end of Pepsi's sponsorship of Tour events, anybody notice the lack of Pepsi-sponsored events this past season as well as a a lack of Pepsi commercials?

Pretty soon, if that is the case, Chris Barnes and Sean Rash (both sponsored in part by Pepsi) might as well phone the guys over at Gemini and order a whole new batch of Tour jerseys with a new drink sponsor on them.

Also, they might have to ditch those Pepsi spare balls of theirs as well.

I loved the Skills Challenge until they started to get silly with it. Three balls....off hand.....maximum pin count. Ball in each hand, one over the chair one under the chair....maximum pin count. Once it got to that point I was no longer interested.

They had the Pepsi Viper Championship this year. And it never hurts to get a new sponsor.

I know that Pepsi will be sponsoring the "Red White and Blue" Open which replaced the High Scoring championship.

AMP Energy is a PEPSI product so I would not say that Pepsi is haulting sponsorship money, they are just relocating which of their brands they feel is the most relevant. Right now, energy drinks are the craze, soon it will move onto something else and all the companies will be jumping on the bandwagon.
