They sure are trying to push this.

I've signed up for something through their site and get periodic e-mails for various things, sometimes a promotion they are doing, and others an upcoming event with the most recent for the team series.

I got it. I don't mind getting them though. Most of the time, I know when stuff is going on but there are times when I forget. Nice to get the reminder.
I get regular updates from PBA.com and I think they should do even more stuff via e-mail to attract new members and keep bowlers informed about the PBA.
