643 tonight. Nothing special...averaging 214 easily on a house shot. On the other hand PBA experience league on Weds will surely no doubt tear me a new ass hole.

At some point I'm gonna need a more detailed review on the DP! What did the coach have you working on? I refuse to deal with coaches. Every coach that I know is simple trying to chance your style, into there style it seems. I thought a good coach was suppose to work within your style to help you improve your game. Not change your game all together.

I'm not new to the Cheetah. And, the Coach was working with another bowler when we talked. Yeah the recommended line is the outside on this short pattern, but not with the DP. It reads too early. the Coach was talking about using a Black Widow Bite or maybe it was a venon. I don't remember.

If I was seriously playing the outside line, I should have used my Terminator that gets more length. As it was, my BRB handled it OK. don't need that strong of a ball on that pattern.

I agree with your equipment choice. The 1st week I started out with the Terminator on the Cheetah. That worked for a little while, then I pulled out the Terminator Rebellion which I felt gave be a better read as the shot broke down. I would think the Buzz Attack would be a good choice for the Cheetah maybe! What ball would you use on the VIPER? That's what will be shooting on for the next two Wensdays. I'm not gonna have my DP yet, which I wouldn't think would be wise on that pattern anyway. Any suggestions?

Just checked past history, as I haven't seen the Viper this year. Last year I had the best success with my Conqueror, rolling straight up 8. It was drilled the same as my DP and was used on heavy oil only. The DP replaced it in my bag, so I would probably start with that today. I needed an earlier read on that shot from the outside. Anything that had length wouldn't finish enough, for me.

Currently the strongest ball in my bag is the Terminator, so I'll start with that. To the best of my knowledge the Viper is the 2nd shortest pattern. I tend to struggle on the shorter sport shots. It usually requires me to reduce my rev rate, which I don't feel overly confident doing. I still haven't run across the right shot for my Rebellion, as much as I hate altering the box finish it might be the only why I'll be able to use it.

ringer dont feel so bad i dropted 19 pins last week tonight i should average myself out. it sucked starting with a 193 average. when i just finished winter with a 130 lol. not that i ever would but i almost know why people sandbag there first few weeks. still couldnt do it though, im to competitive against my self to do something like that, but throwing my second highest series on my first night of summer league just sucked, but i like figured ild be around 150-170 bowler i think after tonight ill average myself out, you never know i just might surprise myself or ill be on here crying about it! lol either way keep up the pratice

Practiced with my newly drilled Rattler for the first time. It's not as strong as I thought it would be, but that's good because it fills a hole in my arsenal. I was playing on a nearly fresh house shot. The first game I shot, I was just warming up and didn't shoot spares. The first 5 frames, I shot with my go to ball, the Copperhead, and the last half I started throwing my Rattler. I shot a 247 which isn't bad for not making any spares. The next game was with my Rattler only, and I shot a 255. I was shooting 9 to about 7 or 6. The next two games, I was just shooting around to see how the ball would react on different part of the lanes. The fifth game I went back out to my original line and shot about a 220. Halfway through the that game I felt the ball rubbing against the back of my thumb. Three frames after I noticed that, some skin was torn off my thumb. The thumbhole didn't feel wrong, but apparently it is. I'll have to check out what's wrong with it later. I want to see what the ball can do on burnt up and short shots. It sucks that we ust finished shooting on the Cheetah on the sportshot league.

Please, I'm happy as hell were done with the Cheetah. I new it would present the biggest challenge for me, one which I'd have to say I failed miseriable to say the least!
