i have a issue with a youth bowler thing
we bowl on tuesday night mixed league in our town
and we need 5 bowlers for it
and we got 3 and one of the people who i wanna email and ask is a 16-17-18 youth bolwer
i dont know there age just 16 or 17 or 18
and the bowling alley said they couldnt play sports and bowl or they would have to give up the yaba bowling forever
and i dont think this kid plays sports in school so thats a plus
but the thing is this see i have never ever even said one word to this kid or ever bowled with or against this kid or anything, and this is my ?
why would a kid who is happy and has bowled the same youth league for years wanna give all of that up for a stranger who he dont even know that well just to bowl for prize money
and start bowling adult leagues and to never bowl youth leagues ever again

what are my chances of him bowling 1-100
with 100 being him wanting to bowl wityh me

You cannot receive any prize money or prizes at all if you want to continue in the USBC youth program.

Why would a youth turn to adult leagues with prize money instead of sticking with the youth? I think that's your base question. Sorry but your post was not very easy to understand.

One reason might be that as a youth bowler he didn't really accumulate too much scholarship money. Second reason might be that he decided that he wasn't going to secondary school aka college, so the scholarship money was not needed. Or thirdly, he has other avenues to get him through college so doesn't need to take up the scholarship funds from those that really want them.

But one thing is clear. If you are a youth and you bowl for any prize money you cannot go back to youth/YABA bowling. Its a one way ticket.
