Ian, congrats on bowling a new personal high game. 136 pins over average is awesome!

yea man, once you hit it once then theyll start to come a little bit more. like when i shot my first 700 in league i shot one the very next week too. youll do eventually just takes time and practice. make sure you make the easy spares that's the best way to improve and go from there.

PBA Practice tonight. Chameleon, should be fun. Started with the Virtual Goofy. It didn't find a line it liked on fresh oil for a 169. My Terminator was steadier on the outside for 174 and 220. The BigRBang held the line the best, rolling 204 and 211. My Conqueror played over the middle for 208. So, 197 average in 6 games on the Chameleon. The key was to make the spares. I only had 4 split opens. Solid practice on a tough pattern. http://www.bowlsk.com/games/view-series.html?series=148143

shot well again for my second night of league. shot 226, 278, 163, and 174 for a 841 series to bring my average up to 208. i came into this league with a 196 book average. it's a trios league four gamer and in the second game our team game was 804. just absolutely crushed them.

Monday night PBAx summer league. Second week on the Cheetah pattern. I went 163-255-158--576. As I'm getting used to my new spare ball, I only had 3 non-split, non-washout opens for the night. I will say each of my splits I pretty much deserved.
The second game was solid though. Of the 8 strikes, 7 crushed the pocket. One crossed over. And the 9/ I had in the 5th frame I was a hair high in the pocket and left a solid 9.

Probably should've wished you real luck instead of what I said. Nice 255 in the second, Dan!

Well after much deliberation,...I have decided to strap the wrist brace back on. I can't deny it,..its like a night and day difference with it on. I am much more consistant with it on than off, and I hate to say it, but I guess my confidence is higher too. I practiced last night with the brace, and was in the 230's the whole night. Without it I am all over the place 230, 140, 165, etc. My summer league started last week, and I was very inconsistant again, so thats what prompted me to stop with the experimenting and go back to the brace. It was alot more fun last night than what I have been experiencing before.

Probably should've wished you real luck instead of what I said. Nice 255 in the second, Dan! LOL it's all good. My 2 "off" games were mostly because I didn't make adjustments quick enough. I do wish I had more experience on these patterns. I'm sure I'd do much much better.

Why wish? You stopping sometime soon? I'm thinking this isn't going to be your last PBAx league. You're allowed two "off" games. For now. Go and sin no more: Penance is two 700s and a baby split conversion.
