I got into a LARGE 5 man per team no tap tourney trying out the new ball. I shot 244-211-245 for 700 on the nose. That is pretty weak for no tap, I might be bowling the same tourney this Sunday. The lanes really werent too bad just a few stupid mistakes here and there were very costly. Some chick with a 120 average rolled a NT 300, that should help her team with all that handicap. I still dont understand handicapped no tap tourneys.

yea no kidding. cause for alot of people with a high average, they can shoot a perfect series to just get smashed in the end with those high handicaps. i really liked the no tap doubles tourney i did on valentines day with my gf. we ended up taking third but she has a low average shooting in the 220s which saved my butt. i shot a 787 that day so i got really lucky lol. good luck this sunday to you though.

Bowled on Sunday. I took the munchkin and we bowled almost 2 games each. She got tired so we only got through 7 frames on the second game. She started off putting the fingers from her right hand in the ball and then 2 handing it down the lane (she is 4). She throws a baseball lefthanded but she sees me throw right. I asked her if she wanted to throw it with her other hand instead. She said yes. So, she started bowling lefty. A little improvement in the speed. The lanes were DRY. We got there when they opened and they hadn't oiled yet. Everything went left. Even my spare ball. I used it the whole time. Not bad. I was concentrating on rolling the ball and getting a clean release. I wasn't worried about my scores. I think that I only had 1 or 2 strikes. I picked all but 2 of the makeable spares.

When we were done, I took her home and then headed out and met my team captain for bowl a few more. Our goal was to get in games and the stakes were a beer for series. We both started out with our Cells both drilled for early roll. He is a lefty. I was trying to get comfortable again with going straight up 5. I ended up using a little swing from 7 to 5. Got good carry for a 233 and missed 1 spare in the first frame (1-2-4-7). Second game, I used my Hy-Road and he used an Agent (drilled pin over ring). I left 2 splits for a 203. Last game, we both used our Cells on the right lane, and the Hy-Road/Agent on the left. I missed another spare and had a split in the 10th for another 203. He went 214, 190something, 190something. He doesn't bowl league every week and has probably shot 15 games in the last 9 months. He needs games in. Me, I just need to keep warm. It had been 10 days since I bowled and my first couple games with my daughter felt off. I felt much better the next 3.

17 more days.

Practiced yesterday but couldnt get a clean game. Did manage 215 213 210 and some 150-180's managed to pick up the 6 7 10 split though which was kinda neat for me, being a weak spare shooter.

I had my first expeirence with heavy wet lanes tonight but i must say it was alot easier to adapt to than dry. it was sliding and going to right with no hook what so all and thats all i complain about is my pearl hooking to much! i did 154-168-194-194-145. for a 171 average.

The lanes were good my first game, managed a 203, but then something broke down the 2nd game. I couldnt get my Psycho to react without dropping the speed 3 mph or so, second game was a 134, then i switched to my anger for the 3rd game and managed X X X 9- 9- 9/ in a row after the switch and finished with a 169.

169 average tonight, down from 182 my first week, handicapped from a 220 down to a 207.

Our team pulled it together and won 2 of 3 games (last game by 1 pin) and total H pincount by 9.
