For next time I need to improve upon things that will help me in league. Cleaner release, work on using different hand positions and better timing. It would have helped to have another ball fit in between the Cell and Cell Pearl. My game certainly has flaws, I knew it before Nationals but now I have a better understanding of them. I'm self taught so I won't throw my game out the window trying to change too much at once but I have a few things I want to work on when I get time to practice again.

Speaking of the Rogue Cell, I will be leaving for Vegas in the morning, and decided not to bring 6 balls with me, just the Rogue Cell and my XXXL. Will let y'all know how it goes.

Good luck Joe! When does the tourney officially end? I'm barely in there for cashing in doubles and total pin fall.
The polished Cell pin under sounds like what I was looking for. Next time I'm taking two 2 ball totes. My 3 ball bag got beat up pretty good on its way to Vegas and back. I'll be sure to pick your brain next time I venture out that way, thanks for the offer!

Thanks, Mike. I believe the tournament runs through July 23rd.

Nice bowling Mike, at least you put some decent scores up.
Good luck Joe, and most importantly learn something!

Thanks, guys. Mentally, my focus is on throwing 108 good shots, adjusting quickly to any transition, and making my spares. Physically, I will be concentrating on staying on balance at the line, and just rolling the ball off of my hand. Emotionally, I am just looking forward to taking it all in. It's been 15 years since I have been to Nationals. I'll let you know how it goes.

Joe - I would say the most important thing to remember is to be flexible. A shot that worked in the team squad might not work in doubles/singles. When I went, I played 13 board in teams and 6 board in D/S. So be prepared to try any and every line to the pocket to find some area. And any area will be somewhat limited compared to a THS, so you'll need to really focus on hitting your target every shot.
