I Have been bowling for going on 2 months now and am looking to buy a new bowling ball, I currently have a Virtual Gravity and not getting the desired effect. I was thinking of going with a Rogue Cell or Cell Pearl. Would it be best to go with the Pearl since I already have a heavy oil ball, where the Rogue is a hybrid could it still be used when the lanes start to break down?

Welcome setemup. You are pretty new to the game, and I assume bowling on a house shot. So, your heavy oil balls should roll out on you. I would look for a polished reactive to handle the lane conditions better. Match your equipment to the conditions. Seems like you are trying the heavy equipment and that is overkill. You would have better success with something like the Rattler or another mid oil, medium ball.

Thanks for the help, would the new Storm Fast be a good ball to buy?

Well, I'm not a good Storm guy to ask. General Pounder and a few others are better at Storm.

Do you know anything about Brunswick, I was just searching for mid performance balls and saw the Swarm and must say it looks pretty good. Know any info on this, or would the Rattler be the better option?

You say you're not getting the desired effect. What is the desired effect, and what is the VG doing instead?

Best Storm balls for oil to light.
VG
Hy-Road
T-Road Pearl/T-Road Solid
Street Rods/Fast/Furious

Hy-Road is very versatile. Could probably knock out the T-Road series and get multiple Hy-Roads and change drillings/surfaces.

Hy-Road, Black Widow Pearl, or Cell Pearl.

Don't get the Rogue Cell, its too much like the VG

The Track Uprising might also be worth a look, and perhaps the Roto Grip Illusion and Mars. The Break Pearl by 900 Global won't be a bad choice if you like a more angular line.

Swarm or Hyroad when i was looking for exactly this lane condition fit. I bought Swarm. Hyroad is still a probability. It seems very versatile.
