What are the ways I can speed up or slow down my bowling ball.. I tend to get over 16 to 17 mph on the speed.. Want to get it down sometimes to 14.5 to 15.5

I assume those speeds are on the monitor. They measure speed in the backend, so 16 or 17 is pretty fast. I only wish I could throw the ball that fast sometimes, 14.5 is my normal speed with one of those tracking systems last I checked. My suggestion is to lower the ball in your stance and move up on the approach a few inches. This should slow it down some as long as you don't force the ball in the downswing.

Sorry if this was off-topic... but how do you find out your ball speed? Apparently, mine was too slow, just want to check if it's actually less than 10mph.

I do what ample does. lower the ball in my approach to slow ball speed down and higher it my approach to slow down. I have heard norm Duke will move up and move back on the approach.

Sometimes lowering the ball to much can effect your timing, or aleast is does for me. I also move from 5 to 4 steps to slow down.
