I had a blast this past weekend. I bowled in three ladies team events in the city tournament here in Columbus, Ohio. Last Sunday though I shot a 715 scratch series in the team event in the same tournament. Yesterday I bowled in 1 team event and shot only 611. Then the next day I subbed in one team event and shot 628. And my last squad in the team event I shot a whopping 678. My lowest game in that set was 214. And I also decided to get into the money brackets and got into two of them. I won both of them and made 50 dollars. I was very consistant and in a good mental zone. There were some times that my mind went out to lunch and tried for strikes and fortunately I caught myself doing it and was able to correct it. And the way I could tell was my timing started to get away from me a little. I had to remind myself to stop trying so hard and to calm down and take it one shot at a time. And to not pay attention to scores or anybody else. I kept looking at my Earl Anthony Picture just as a reminder of what would Earl do and before you know it I was back on Track. What an awesome weekend that i'm so exhausted and will sleep well tonight.
