Anyone watching the USBC Queens finals on ESPN2? These ladies can bowl!

Also, let me say that I absolutely positively miss Bo Burton Jr. doing color commentary. I've already heard more practical bowling advice in the last 1/2 hour than I have from Randy Pederson in the last 2 seasons.

I'm watching. I agree these women can bowl.

As for other parts of the show, I think the USBC is doing way too much shameless self promotion that is stretching the truth a bit too much.

Kulick's got my vote. I love watching her bowl.

p.s. People often join the chat room while shows are on to discuss them in real-time.

I DVR'ed the show and watched it after the family went to bed. Ladies were bowling well. I thought that Kulick had some frames where her timing was off. When she did that, her speed got goofy and she went high. When her timing was right, she was money.

I checked in chat during the Queens, I didn't see anyone discussing anything.

I agree GP, something seemed a little off on Kulick's shots that ran high. You could see when the ball came off her hand on the good shots that it was pocket, which most often resulted in strikes.

If I had thought to bring my laptop to the center that afternoon I could have done chat while watching. The only place I could watch it was in the bar without volume.

I'll second that. As likeable as Randy Pederson is, other than pointing out how the pros work the inside of the ball, there has not been much practical info for viewers in a long time. On the other hand, I must admit that I do find Rob Stone much more entertaining than Dave Ryan, who always seemed to focus mostly on pointing out bowler's errors.

Back on topic, I think the ladies did a great job. I hope they continue to televise the competitions.

I prefer Randy. I can't remember what it was that he said, but there was one piece of advice that he gave in Wednesday's show that just blew my mind. Apparently it didn't sink in though frown

I haven't watched Wednesday's show yet, but if I catch it I'll post here to remind you.
