Actaully my Great Great Grandfather was a Sea Captain from England. My surname is very English! Oh, and the island off the coast of Honduras where he settled is called Roatan, and to this day they consider themselves British citizens living in Honduras... And they speak a form of English there which is also a far cry from the language you speak. It takes some getting used to to be able to understand them.
