Are you interesting in helping me? I am beginning to research a potential article for
Bowlers Journal magazine.
I am seeking league bowlers who are willing to discuss the pros and cons of sanctioning with the American Bowling Congress and/or Women's International Bowling Congress. It doesn't matter whether you are currently a sanctioned bowler or not.
PLEASE PROVIDE ALL RESPONSES VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE TO MY E-MAIL ACCOUNT AND NOT POSTED TO THE GROUP.
The initial exchange would be via e-mail. If you are willing to participate in the research, but rather not be part of the article, I will protect your anonymity. I will solely use your response(s) to formulate the premise of the article, and create preliminary questions for those that will ultimately be included in the final article.
I am interesting in learning:
1) Are you a league bowler?
2) What is your average?
3) Is your league sanctioned by ABC/WIBC?
3a) If yes, do you support the decision for sanctioning or was your league coerced by league officers/management of the bowling center, etc.
3b) If not, why doesn't your league sanction through ABC/WIBC?
4) Do you agree with the "value" of membership with ABC/WIBC?
5) Is there a better way, in your opinion, for ABC/WIBC to "package" membership that you would prefer (such as tiered membership to offer benefits that better fit your average, the sport membership that is tailored for higher averages bowling on tougher conditions, etc.)?
I may want to follow-up with you via telephone. If you don't mind that, please provide your telephone to me via private message, as well as the best time to reach you at that number. If you prefer e-mail correspondences only, I can accommodate that as well.
Thank you.
