Ask your local Pro Shop if there's a way for you to WORK off the entry fee.

Put it to them as you have us. You want the experience. You might not be competative now, but are willing to work off the entry fee doing whatever you can in the shop.

I just heard of an opportunity today. Our House has a Pro Shop in it and over the years, they have put extra or unwanted balls down in the basement. The House is looking for someone to carry them up and throw them in the dumpster. They have a sign for $10 an hour to carry balls up. Ours estimates they have over 400 balls down there.

Maybe yours has something similar.

You can't carry more than 3 balls at a time. Up the stairs, about 50 feet to the doorway, and halfway back in the lot to the dumpster. Then walk back. I figure 7 minutes per roundtrip, or 24 balls per hour. That's over 16 hours. That pays the freight.

A neighbor of mine when I was a kid used to give old bowling balls to his pigs. They would nose them around their stalls.

When shopping for anything on Amazon.com or eBay please use these links to go to the web sites.

This won't cost you a cent!
