Hi bowling joel here,
When is the best time to bowl a tournament when
it runs a long time? The begining, middle, or the
end. I have always wanted to ask that question.
thanks. Also thanks to coach rich for the reply
for laying down the ball short of foul line, and
the forward and reverse pitch. thanks bowling joel

My bowling buds and I always wait till the last week of any tournament...but...don't look at the score boards before you bowl. Look afterwards so that you don't pressure yourself. The reason we do the last week is so we don't have to wait too long for the payouts!!!! Good luck and good bowling...Lyn

If they allow multiple entries bowl once during the first few weeks and once near the end. If it's held on different days find out which ones have less squads and try to get in that one so the conditions will be fresher.

IMO it doesn't matter. Just pick a time that is convenient to you and your team.

Generally, most leagues here begin after Labor Day (the first Monday in September here in the states), but a few leagues will start before then, such as my Thursday night league (due to the Thanksgiving holiday), and some leagues will alter their schedule's start date to accomodate Christmas and New Year's Days.

Unless you're bowling in the last squad of the ABC's, when you're allowed to bowl after the event has had it's closing ceremony.

Right George ? laugh

Absolutely Robert. Greendale strikes again laugh

I can't wait for the SMO to come about...imagine having THAT many people with no decision making skills... We might start having the closing ceremonies in Feb in Knoxville hehe.
