Hey guys for my 30th bday my g/f surprised me with a brand new LevRg bowling ball. Now I havenít been bowling all that long (8 months or so) but have been practicing a lot and have gotten fairly decent for the time frame (IMO). But being still new i do not have a known PAP and need help on how to have it drilled? Should I just do a standard label drilling? I admit I don't need a fancy ball at this time but how could I turn down a nice ball like that? =-). There is a guy in the league I bowl at that uses this ball and I had made the comments how good it rolls and thus the ball is now mine. There are a bunch of houses in my area that i bowl at with all sorts of conditions. I will use this ball mainly in league play when the lanes are pretty heavy oil. Thanks as always for your help you guys are the best!!!

It's pretty important that you work with a good Pro Shop to find out what your PAP is and have them recommend a layout for you. It would be a good idea to go to the shop that drilled the LEVrG for the guy you bowl with so they can recommend a layout that will work best for you. MoRich balls can be a little finicky as far as laying them out properly, so going to a driller who has experience with them will help alot.

Enjoy your new weapon when it's done!

I agree with you totally but being only 8 months into the game i am not consistent enough to find a valid PAP. The driller that has helped me so far has seemed very good. He has been very informative to me and has even come in on off hours to help me do to my work schedule. He recommended my first ball and the drilling and i will certainly ask his option on this one. But a lot of you guys on here are so informative and have used the equipment i figure it can't hurt to get other opinions. As i said in my first post i realize a ball like this was probably better off down the line but i'm not going to give the gift back!!!

If you aren't consistent yet, he'll probably go with a label type drilling - pin near the ring finger, cg near the palm.

A label drill as CG has suggested will be fine.
