Share your experience at the ABC Championships in Reno.

How did you like the lane conditions, ball check-in, plastic pins, and service? How well did you bowl?

I took four teams up under the BowlingFans.com moniker. One of the teams did very well and are sitting in 103rd place in team event. I'll see if I can get some of the guys to post here.

As for me, I finished 9 games. Which basically doubled my bowling attempts since Februrary. The lanes were not as bad as I'd heard, it was more a case of my being rusty.

I went with Angel's group, and the team in 103rd was on my pair (Hi Mario!!). I hadn't experienced watching another team shoot a score of that altitude before, and that was VERY cool.

As for me, I had 1549 All Events, which is closer to my 00-01 book average, and I have a new high game of 225 and new high series of 569, shot in Singles.

The Twisters were okay, but to me they sounded like toy pins. They aren't as loud as wood. If you made a good shot, you struck, and if you didn't, you were left with some rather undesirable geometric patterns wink

Can we go to Billings now?? smile

Here I am, another member of Angel's group.

In addition to what already been posted, I had the privilege of bowling with Dan Orazio for 9 games and watched him wear out the Track to the pocket en route to a 100-ish all events total. Great bowling, Dan!

As for myself, I didn't think the lanes were quite as difficult as I had heard, but due to my general lack of talent and intelligence, I sure played them like they were the most difficult condition on earth.

It's over! Let's start heading to Billings now!
