The 2006 American Bowling Congress Championships Tournament has
been awarded to Corpus Christi, Texas, making its second visit to the south Texas resort town. Corpus Christi hosted its first ABC Championships in 1992 and again also will host the ABC Convention as part of the bid.

Two words: ST. LOUIS. Set up in the TWA Dome after the football season, be done before July. Bowling Hall of Fame, centrally located. What else could be better?

I'm all for visiting various parts of the country, but why are the parts that ABC goes always places I've never had any urge to go to in my life? I know, I know....money talks.

Thanks but unless there is some tourist attraction (read roller coaster park or historical spot) somewhere near, I'm having a really hard time with the cities chosen.

Although that year it will be funny to see folks TRYING to get those February dates rather than the June dates people want for Billings.
