League play always involves using two lanes correct? At what point does the bowler move to the other lane? After each frame?

Yes league play involves using two lanes. You alternate each frame except the last frame of the previous game and first frame of the next game. Since each pair starts with an odd lane which is the left lane, lets say you start on the left lane, your tenth frame will be on the right lane and the first frame of the next game will also be on the right lane. Which lane you start the night on depends on which lane you/your team info is on.

So basically lets say im playing in a doubles league with my wife. We start on left lane. Both of us bowl out our frames. Then when the other couple finishes their frames we switch lanes. Thus our final frames for my team will end on the right lane.
Then the beginning of the next game we start on the right lane?
DO i have it correct? Thanks, sorry such a dumb question.

It's not a dumb question if you've never been in a league format.

As clt as said you are correct.
