I don't know how many of you watched the WV tour event this past Sunday. But Sean Rash really impressed me. For 23 years old, he didn't get shaken up at all in the final match. He left a couple tuff spares that he was able to pick up at key points, especially that 2-10 in the 8th. Then to come off that and double in the 10th to put the pressure on DeVaney...jeez. That's clutch.

I'll be pulling for this "kid" each week!

To those who really know the game....what would you say his "style" of bowling is? His line was similar to a stroker, but really had high revs. But jeez he really turned up the speed on his spare shots. If he didn't have as much speed his ball would probably hit the 7 pin each time with his line.

To me he seemed to have a simular style as Chris Barnes also a fellow Shocker.

Wire, I was equally impressed with this kid. Obviously well coached and with his collegiate and team usa experience he will be a favorite in the future. He owned the crowd and his explosive ball "wowed" most of us. I can't really nail down his style, he had a classic four step approach but a monster release. Petersen was right about getting a "mitfull" I would love to have that kind of power. Nick

I agree with deuce; very Barnes-esque. It looked like he generated almost as many rev's as Tommy Jones, but with an effortless release. Probably a product of long arms and a free armswing. The ball rolled off his hand like it was a yo-yo.

Tim.

I couldn't pinpoint his style, if you put a gun to my head I would say power stroker. He didn't seem to really crank the ball, even though he got cranker like revs. Very Barnesy. We might have to start a new style for him and Barnes. He definitely gets a handful at the bottom of his armswing.

I absolutely loved seeing him make those spares. What focus. He's also doing pretty good at the US Open. keep an eye on him.

wouldn't a power stroker be a tweener?

Yes, but he has so much power I would hesitate to call him a tweener. I would rather say Power Stroker, I just think it sounds better.

Line and backswing of a Stroker, revs and hitting power of a cranker. I'm sticking with Power Stroker as well.

He is still 2nd in Squad C. I have a feeling we may see him Sunday.

Go figure that Tommy Jones is 1st. Another hard hitter.

well, whatever you call him, he's good. after 39 games of the us open, he's in first place. last week, a non-exempt winner. this week, a major winner? the kid is just mowing people down.
