Work on one thing at a time. Trying to change a bunch of stuff at once will just make things worse.

Bowled 12 games, 160 average today. I think you are right about working on too many things at once :P Here is a few shots I recorded with my digital camera today, a few I did better, but a few I just slid back into my old ways.

Shale,
It still looks like you are trying to pull the ball down into the release. Remember that in order to get a good release you need good balance, in order to obtain good balance you have to have a free swing. You want your body to be "parked" at the line as the ball comes down towards the release, at about 45 degrees or so. If you can get the feel of "foot" at the line, then "ball" I think it will help a lot. The more you are able to do this the bigger the "flat spot" you will be able to create at the bottom of swing. Keep up the good work and remember that you don't have to hook the ball, the engineer's have been nice enough to do that for you already.

I have a video camera coming this week and I think it will help me a lot... Today with my digital camera I got maybe 5 throws out of 180 total through 12 games. I know there are times where I let the swing go free, and I am looking forward to seeing what that looks like. Hoping to identify the things I am doing right at different times to put it all together.

I am trying to keep my hand behind the ball and lift it out over the lane, but for some reason in the vids I keep looking like my hand is turned sideways before the bottom of the swing.

I think I have corrected myself from trying to twist the ball into a hook, for the majority of my shots, to the point where the ball has almost 0 spin on it, but that is also part of my follow through issues.
