I still have never seen a 1-7-10. How does that happen?

I left a 1-7-10 thus year. Hit the 3 pin on the strike shot with good pin action.

There was a 5-7-10 during our sectionals a few weeks ago. I also left a 4-7-9-10 which pretty much ruined the game for me, but I almost got it. Kicked out the 4 pin from the right which deflected off the wall hitting the 7 and 9. The 9 tapped the 10, but the 10 decided to stay up even after a few shakes.

we were bowling last week. And i left the head pin + the 9-10.

It wasnt highlighted red (split) on the scorer screen though.

Asked a guy about it and he said if you leave the head pin maybe it doesnt consider it a split. >?

Yup, it's technically not a split if the head pin is still standing. The 9-10 would register as a split though.
