I have been hearing that the PBA Senior Tour is winding down and that it's being phased out by the new PBA owners. This is despite their promises they wouldn't do this after their purchase of the association.

It this true? Is anyone aware of what's going on?

Yep, it's too bad too. Not one of the PBA's smarter decisions.

Pathetic!

Is Peters making his decisions with the help of a magic 8 ball or a dart board?

There certainly is no logic in it.

I'm upset by the news but thanks for at least confirming it.

Anyone know to why they made this decision?

Money is the reason...the new owners want to fix the junior tour first then they might consider working with the seniors. In the meantime the PBA is going to lose a lot of senior members because who is going to want to pay membership dues for just two stops! Also there is a lot of interest in a new senior tour not affiliated with the PBA. As of now the PBA Senior Tour is all but dead!

Hi there: as a senior, I would like to say
this step is wrong!! Seniors have money and some connections.
Why get rid of a money maker?? The tour
helps many of us keep active,,,isnt that worth some thing. There is one more point we still have infulence. There just might be
enought of us to help you change your mind?? smile

It is very upseting to hear this. I always been a fan of the senior tour and went to several of the tournaments to bowl pro ams and just watch and talk with the guys.

So many of the seniors are the greatest guys in the world!
