I am looking for a good ball for when the lanes are as dry as Moms turkey dinner. The house here refuses to oil the lanes except for twice a week. I was thinking about the Hammer Razyr. Looks like it has a good coverstock and seems to be a decent ball. Any suggestions? 6' Right hand stroker.

Do you have a weaker or a stronger release and what would you consider yourself a cranker stroker or tweener

I would say a stroker. I dont really put a whole lot on the ball. Just enough to get it down the lane and let the ball do the work. As far as release goes I really just rotate through on the release. Dont really try to overturn.

then honestly i think you might be able to take advantage of a Hy-Road a t-road pearl or a street rod pearl..

(and this is something i want to get just to try on our really dry lanes as well) maybe a tropical storm.

I think AK has a decent list up there. I would add the Storm Blue Ice though. I know quite a few people that break that ball out when the lanes are absolutely on fire.

Definately go with a pearl that is drilled for length. I would think that the Street Rod Pearl would be good if you don't get a lot of revs on the ball. If you have revs, then a Tropical wouldn't be bad. Last year at Nationals one of our guys was using one. The core may not be too complex but his had a ton of turn and hit hard.

Avalanche series from Brunswick may also work, or perhaps the Ebonite bash/clash.
