For the Battle at Little Creek, each of the 32 contestants was asked to come up with a theme song that will be playing while they warmed up for each round. Below is that list. Any comments on the musical choices? Or for players not listed, any suggestions for their theme songs?

It's nice to see that they are trying to pump up the players and the crowd. I just don't want to see any wrestling on the lanes smile

It's nice to see WRWJr has s sense of humor smile

As for the good ones, definitely Rudy Revs. I'm also going to ave to have a talk with Doug Kent next time I see him. Why on Earth would anyone VOLUNTARILY listen to Dick Vitale?!?!? Doug, Doug, Doug...

If I was bowling in this, what song would I pick? Hmmm...maybe "It Doesn't Matter" by Wyclef Jean and The Rock.

That's a good topic -- if you were bowling in this, what would your theme song be?

I was really impressed that so many of the guys had such great taste in music. If my son could be any bigger a PBA fan, he just probably added five or six guys to his list based on their musical choices alone.

I have to say though, Hoskins' kids must have loved the Rugrats movie...can anyone honestly stand hearing that song a single time more?

As for personal theme songs, I can't say I have one single song or group. I used to listen to Carole King before bowling, and I'd go in feeling wonderful, and get my behind creamed. I tend to bowl better after listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers "Fight Like a Brave" or "Higher Ground," or Limp Bizkit, or Papa Roach, old Beastie Boys, or any of the "KROQ" bands.

Several years back, the Dodgers gave the players a chance to adopt "theme" songs, and it was great. I hope this catches on in the respect it adds another bit of insight to the players.

A very cool idea for this tour stop......from the format to the total experience.....it will help personalize the players alittle more....

as for MY song.....anyone in Reno after team event would know that would have to be Limp Bizqit "Break Stuff".....I would also have to talk to Mr. Smith about changing to that song.....because that boy just crushes things.....

I know you probably erased everything about it from the memory banks, but wasn't it Albuquerque? Or maybe it was Reno too!

As for my song... if it's your favorite song, I'd have to go with "Amie" by Pure Prairie League. If it's representative of the tournament, I'd have to choose "All I Need IS a Miracle" by Mike and the Mechanics

Wow, they really ARE trying to imitate Pro Wrestling LOL. I can see it now... Norm Duke will be bowling Parker Bohn III in the title match, and as Parker Bohn is warming up, Norm will be distracting Tournament Director Kirk Von Kruger as Steve Hoskins and Brian Voss Start choking Parker with a bowling towel, allowing Patrick Healey to climb to the top of the ball return and deliver The Bowler's Elbow on him. When Von Kruger turns around, Parker will be down and out, and Duke will be granted the title by default. eek

LOL....ok....IF we're talking WWF-style bowling....Jeff Lizzi would be bowling in the title match with the Dorin sisters as his caddies.....leather skirts and all.....when the lights dim....music blares.....the spotlights turn to Kim Adler leading Pete Weber out of the tunnel on a leash......

meanwhile, the remaining 30 bowlers would circle the pair of lanes....a-la-lumberjack matches.....ready to pummel the first person that tries to run out a strike.....

:::just be glad Vince McMahon invested in the XFL instead of the PBA....:::::

ROFL, Pete Weber on a leash. I almost fell out of my chair when I read that. We could also see the color commentator on the telecast suddenly take off his microphone and join in the battle. I've seen that on pro wrestling shows too. The possiblities are endless.

Wow....I doubt anyone would have guessed the final 4 would be these guys.

Jason Couch with Godsmack
Brian Himmler with Metallica
Tony Reyes with Red Rider (spewww)
Steve Wilson with Creed

For best surviving song, I go with Brian. For the title, I choose Jason. laugh
