I'm new to the Georgia area... anyone near me that can recommend a good center for league play in Cobb county? I live in the Powder Springs area and I've heard some things with regards to Brunswick Zone-Austell Lanes and went there once... nice center but didnt get to bowl as there was a 1 and half hour waiting list during the week!

Thanks in advance!

Rick

Welcome to Jawja Rick. I'm not familiar at all with centers over on the west side of metro. I'm easterly of metro. I'll try and get some feedback from my cronies to see what they recommend.

Thanks Cowboy!

I went over to Brunswick Zone - Austell and it was a nice enough center... about 10 miles away from me. I signed up for a fall league. Let me know if you hear anything bad about this center...

This weekend bowled a few games... did poor. Not bowling reularly for 10 years kills your game. laugh

Well I will certainly keep my ear to the ground for ya Rick and let ya know if there's trouble in the hills. LOL. Yeah 10 years can have a drastic effect on your game. Try retiring 4 or 5 times and still that old urge of " I just wanna smash some pins" kicks in just about the time you have gotten over all the defeating ten pins that snet you into retirement to beg in with. LOL.

Thanks and I know what you mean... I tried to come back to the game last year but didnt stick with it due to the birth of my son and things that came with it. Now I have a daughter too! Things are getting settled down some though so time to give it another go.
