After foot surgery to remove a bone spur and 7+ weeks of rehab, I was given the OK by my doctor to bowl again!

I was able to get out yesterday and shoot 3 practice games (175, 217, 203) and it felt great to be back on the lanes.

So, now I can get back to my Thursday league and sub on Tuesdays for my best friend who had a bone spur removed from his shoulder.

Feel like my life is getting back to normal again. smile

I'm very excited but not as much now. Got a call from my buddy that they won't need me tonight. They got a different sub. Have to wait until Thursday now. frown

1st league night back from surgery and shot my high game and series: 174, 245, 193 = 615. Maybe I should have had the surgery a long time ago. grin

Hey, you don't need any ore surgery. But, good bowling. Maybe what you needed was the rest. Good luck, and keep it up.

Yeah, the rest was something I was thinking about too. Could also be that I read a couple bowling books while I was recuperating and tried to really focus on my mental game and fundamentals. Guess I'll only know as I keep bowling. Thanks for the encouragment. grin
