Below are some pics of my bowling ball. (hopefully it will work) As you can see, there is a balance hole to the right side, when I bowl I will notice that the balance hole is looking right at me as it goes down the lane an just kinda stays in that position. Is that the right type of rotation that I want to get on the ball? I used to have a different rotation but since I've had this virtual gravity I have this type, and so far I've done pretty good but I just didn't want to get into any bad habbits. Thanks, and if the photos dont show then I'll try to get them here some how. Now I will say that the hole isn't directly facing me but close enough, it is probably facing a little bit to the left of me if that makes any sense

I would probably advise you to re-check your pitch on the VG. Bring your old ball to the Pro-shop and make a comparison. I used to have this problem(different axis-rotation)on my Fury Solid and found out that it has a reversed pitch angle compared to my Power Drive. After adjustment, everything is fine now.

I think that should be pretty close, if your weight hole is directly on your PAP, then 6 3/4 inches from that spot (across the fingers and thumb) should be your Track lines. I think that puts your Track in pretty good position as long as there is no Track line rolling through the finger or thumb holes.
Also, just thought I would add, there is no such thing as a right axis or tilt, its all predicated on what the lane surfaces are doing. Some times your axis will work great, but there is no guarantee that the same will be true on every pattern you bowl on. The key is to learn more than one release (utilizing different roles) in order to maximize your scoring potential. This is why the PBA members are so great, being able to bowl well no matter the circumstance is a great tool to have.

If it is looking straight back at you, you have about 90* of axis rotation. That means your ball is rolling completely sideways as it goes down the lane. I'm sure it makes for an impressive reaction with the VG, and it may be necessary since the lanes you bowl on are probably drier than the VG needs, and it probably burns up if you stay behind it. However, you want to make sure you haven't lost the ability to stay behind the ball.
sk8, the Track is only 6 3/4" from the PAP on a full roller. If a person's roll doesn't use 13 1/2" of ball surface, there will be more distance between the Track and the PAP. I made a graphic once, but I lost it

Thanks guys I appreciate it.
Columbee, I don't think that it had anything to do with the way the ball was drilled actually, because when I was throwing my other ball, it didn't have a lot of hook to it so I think that when I released it I was trying to give it a little more hook, now that I have virtual gravity I know that I don't have to do that and it made me a lot more relaxed and I am not trying to force it now.
