A 50/50 mixture of "Greased Lightning" and rubbing alchohol. Pour it on a clean
towel
and wipe the ball down.

i use the same mix... seems to work for me and Grease lightning comes in a big contanier and is cheap

cleaner
is OK, I also use simple green 10 or 20% dilution depending ( I use it in an atomizer so I´ll say it´s a spray also)
