Has anyone else tried the famous Shamwow to wipe off your ball? I tried it and I think it really works great. Even better than the micro towels. I'm an infomercial junkie. And, it's all for $19.95, and double your order. One bit of advice: Don't use the "Loud n Clear" at the bowling lanes.

I've seen those commercials. I go to asseenontv.com to get stuff from time to time. Love the infomercials.

I have seen the Shamwow commercials too, and wondered just how good they would work on a bowling ball. Now I know....Thanks Dennis for the endorsment, I'll be dialing up that number next time I see that infomercial.

How would the shamwow work? the shamwow has to be wet before it can work, you wouldn't want to use a wet down where you're bowling and have it wet the whole time i wouldn't think.

Interesting Dennis, I might have to give that a try. What I can't figure out is why that goofball in the commercials is wearing a headset...

GP, thanks for that site link. There are other things there that can be used for bowling. Maybe?!?! Do you think the Shark Steam cleaner will help clean a bowling ball? How about mighty Putty to make a quick fix to ball damage? Fix-it to get rid of surface scratches?

Shark Steam may work. Another cool site for odd things is thingsyouneverknewexisted.com. All sorts of novelty things there.

Seems a bit expensive for being a microfiber towel.
