Billy Mays. He endorses EVERYTHING! And rather than just endorsing a product and boasting about it, he screams it at you so that people three houses over will know how supposedly powerful Oxy Clean is! The Shamwow guy just talks too fast and that stupid microphone on his head makes him look ridiculous.

Maybe I'm wrong.. since there seems to be a few of you backing it up.. but even on the shamwow instructions it says to wet the shamwow before attempting to pick up any other liquids cause it wont "work right"

Regardless, I am going to combine the Shamwow with the L.A.'s Totally Awesome and see what the results might be. I think they will come out relatively well and compliment one another. Who knows? Maybe I'll discover a new cheap way to rejuvenate bowling balls. It could happen.
Dennis, another Billy Mayes product you could use would be the Awesome Auger with the Mini Auge Attachment for self drilling purposes. JK It would probably shred a ball so bad it would be worthless after you were done.

Huh... I got a pack of four microfiber towels at the dollar store last year and haven't had any trouble with them. They work great at a quarter a piece.

Auto supply stores also have microfiber towels for washing your car. I got a 10 pack for 8 bucks. 2 for cleaning, 1 for polish application, one for polish removal, 6 in reserve. I can say that I will probably move back to terry for polishing - the micro grips the ball too much, makes it very hard to use on a spinner.

Doing some research on micro fiber towels, I find there are differences in the number of threads per inch between towels. They are graded like cotton sheets. The ones at the Auto store are fewer threads per inch, while the ones they sell as a man made chamiox are thicker, and costlier.
Shamwow tends to be near the higher quality of weave, and should be more absorbent.
