Last night was a complete slump. There was no hook at all at the backend. I asked myself, "perhaps its time for rejuvenation". And its true, after soaking it in warm water, film of oil immediately appeared. After some repetitions, i can feel the "Tackiness" on the coverstock.
And earlier, got my new improved average back. Broke the 650 barrier. Love this forum. Thank you Bowlingcommunity.

Awesome night, last night considering how the last 4-5 weeks have been. 191-140-201=532. I wasn't striking in the second game and I missed some easy spares. I had a huge breakthough as well. I figured out what I was doing wrong for the past 4 weeks or so and why I couldn't get my ball to turn over. So things should be looking up.
Be like water making its way through cracks. Don't be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

162, 212, 162 today in the youth league. Terrible first and third games and did fine in the second except my only open was in the 10th, which really sucks.

I had a great night last night that was also a bit dissappointing at the same time. My team wasn't able to bowl last week so after the regular league finished last night we stayed to do our unopposed makeup bowling. I shot 299 - 187 - 220. Doh! My best sanctioned score is 289, my only 300 was during practice, so it figures I would shoot my next honor score in a situation that won't be recognized! Oh well, I'm still happy with it (my 12th ball was a good shot...ringing 10 pin!). The 2nd game was better than the score shows, I had one split (4-7-10) in about the 6th or 7th frame but I think I was clean besides that, I might have opened in the 10th too but don't remember (I don't remember the specifics of the 2nd game very well for some reason...I'm going to have to check when I go to the center today). The third game should have been in the 235+ range but I left the 8-10 split on my first ball in the 10th and just missed picking it up.

PBAX League: 177, 179, 178, 151 for 685 on Scorpion. One more week on that pattern to try and do something good. Can't seem to put up anything decent, as I'm having a hard time reading the pattern.

Handicap League: Fairly consistent 213-217-214 for a 644. 44 pins above average and it goes up a pin or two to 200 or so. A couple missed spares (7 and 10) that I should have had would have made this a much better set. Also left a 4-6 and a 3-10, the latter of which I like to think is something I should be converting, but I miss them 60% or more of the time still.

I have some things in my physical game to watch out for, but if I keep them in check I can have a decent outing at my tournament tomorrow.

Wed. Night - 174, 237, 216 for 627
Friday Night - 182, 277, 232 for 691

Having a little trouble settling in for the first game... tend to have to run from work to home to bowling. Second game was first nine strikes then ringing 10 pin first ball in the 10th...

Shaky start... 149, 180, 230 for a 559. Trying to work through my stubbornness. Slowly getting there, though I'll know when I'm over it when I don't shoot such a low game off the get go.

Tuesday was quite a night: 171, 277, 147! I missed 8 spares!

The 277 was typical for me:

81 (pocket 7-10) xxxxxxxxxx 8 (pocket 8-10)

Two pocket splits with 10 strikes in a row in the middle!

I have no awards or honor scores in league.

213, 212, 205 = 630 today for me. i needed something like today, i proved to myself that i can have a consistent day without it having to be spectacular.

in other news, my 278 and 722 are no longer highest on the league this year. another league member today rolled a 288 and a 731. got some work to do.

178 and 223 at our highschool match today. He set me out last game because we were up already by 500 pins and wanted to give others a chance. On the 223 I shot the front five then threw a terrible ball and left 3 pin. only had one open which I missed the pocket. So heres how it was. xxxxx 9/ x 62 8/ 9/x
