If I had to pick 1 current player it would probably be Norm Duke. But then again, they all seem like really cool people. Never had the chance to meet any of them tho. Hopefully, I can get into a pro-am soon and change that.

I'd say Parker, but ultimately my fav. guy is Machuga. His physical game is similar to mine, he's a well-spoke gentleman, and the mental toughness is there.

It's hard to say really. I'm kind of partial towards WRW and the Duke myself. But, The Big Nasty I have to admire because he is self-taught and TJ because he is a power player but it seems like he is rather versatile and versatility is something you need in bowling, in my opinion.

Meeting a Pro? I do have an autographed program signed by Buzz Fazio and Billy Welu from 1969, somewhere in a box. I have a photograph signed by Shirley Garms who was a personal friend of my Aunt who bowled Pro together. Probably in the same box.
I got a XMas card from Laurie Nichols once too. She owned the Center where I formerly bowled in the 80's and currently bowl. Maybe that's in the box too.
My Aunt would take me to all of the Chicago events when I was a kid.
BTW, another lady Pro from the days, Loretta Mroz was a good friend of my Aunt. She since has passed. But, I just found out that one of the older guys who still manages a local center, is her younger brother, Dennis. He's 78 and still bowls 3 times a week. Carries a 187 or so.

I have to say Norm Duke is my favorite by far. I love his attitude and he is just a down to Earth guy. I have bowled in a few clinics that he put on, with help from Randy Pedersen, Bo Burton, and Dave Soutar and all of them were great people as well as bowlers.

Mark Roth - Hands down. Met him when I was late teens, early twenties. Awesome guy. Hung out and talked to me for over a half hour and he didn't have to. Just was a real personable guy.
Met Parker a couple years ago, autographed my ticket. Total class act.
Met WRW Jr, Doug Kent, Mitch Beasley, Riga Kalfas, TJ and Todd book at a Pro Am last year. Doug Kent was funny as hell and Todd book is an incredible bowler. He can throw the ball just as good left handed as right handed. Amazing, mirror shots.
